Her mission, Operation Tisiphone, is a systemic liquidation of the "Red-Black Axis"-the clandestine machinery of terror shared by Hitler's titans and Stalin's butchers. Using her sophisticated Matryoshka network, the Duchess conducts a lethal symphony of financial sabotage and surgical assassinations from the heights of Schloss Drachenfels to the corridors of the Kremlin. But as the Romanov Ledger destabilizes Europe, Eleonora is caught in a crossfire of shifting loyalties. She must navigate a "Devil's Bargain" with British Intelligence head Sir Hugh Sinclair and evade the predatory gaze of the SS's rising star, Reinhard Heydrich. As the "Styx" begins to flow with fresh blood, the Duchess faces a sovereign choice: use her gold to burn the world in revenge or build a sanctuary for a collapsing nation.
