Synopsis: The Silver Ragusaurus is an ugly-duckling story about two father and son relationships which spiral into difficulties, and are resolved happily in the end. Silver is born into a family of ragusaurus. The community is afraid of his colour. They do not understand it. His mother tries to protect him but eventually she realises that she must give him away to keep him alive. Tusk, who lives with his father in a big old house which is open to the public, finds the creature in a dug-out at the bottom of his garden. The two become friends, but Tusk finds it difficult to keep the silver ragusaurus a secret. This is a spiritual story about self love.
