African journalistic discourse

Given the importance and political and economic weight of the African continent in today's world, Egypt's historical relationship with the continent to which it belongs, the various stages it has undergone, and the fact that Africa has been and remains a fundamental and crucial part of Zionist plans and its settlement project, this book aims to explore, monitor, and analyze the African perspective on the activities of both Egypt and Israel through government and private newspapers in a sample of countries chosen to represent the political systems and editorial policies of the press on the continent. It is worth noting that media studies have consistently shown that the press plays a significant role in attracting public attention and directing it toward specific issues and topics of public concern, or in steering it in a particular direction. The press also plays a prominent role in opening channels of communication between public opinion and the ruling political authority by conveying media messages from both sides. Therefore, this book seeks to analyze African newspapers and present their perspectives on the activities of Egypt and Israel in the region.
