This is the second book, following The Duct Tape Dead. Kaa and Nee must now uncover their past to find the truth behind their existence, and why the others won't forget. They finally sail into the sunset, but their serenity does not last. The truth is that they cannot and will not be left alone unless they destroy their past. Completely. Kaa, Nee and their friends go on a journey to unravel their origins and find the very root of their existence. They split into teams of two, with one setting off with the goal to destroy the chemicals that made them. The others journey in the opposite direction to find the board that keeps pursuing them. But they don't realise that Dr. Jansen is still experimenting and still trying to find the truth, but at the cost of his sanity.
