The book deals with a number of basic topics, including a description of the traditional features of Chinese architecture, which are represented by imperial palaces and public housing, in addition to the residences of distinguished minorities with a special character. It also deals with a review of Western culture in China with regard to architectural art, and provides an explanation of foreign house styles in general, and buildings.
