The full name of Shence Army Monument is The Emperor's Visit to Zuo Shence Army Saint Virtue Stele. It was erected in the forbidden area of the imperial palace in the third year of Wuzong of the Tang Dynasty (843 AD). The size of the stele is unknown. Drafted by Choi Hyun and written by Liu Gongquan. The inscription records events such as the demise of the Uighur Khanate and the coming of Anjimesi, which has important historical value. This monument was written by the imperial scholar Choi Hyun of the Hanlin Academy, and Liu Gongquan, who was judged by the scholar of Jixian Academy, added to the artistic value of this monument. The inscription written by Liu Gongquan has a rigorous and neat calligraphy structure, which fully reflects the characteristics of the open, stable and well-proportioned skeletons of the "e;Liu Style"e; regular script. In addition, the inscription is excellent and the rubbings are the same as the original ones. Therefore, later generations will be regarded as the representative work of Liu Shu.
