Hide Her

At the age of twenty-one, Delicia Pineda had known nothing other than the same walls of the compound in Los Angeles that she grew up in. She was first hidden away by her drug dealing father, and then by her brother Aamon when he took over the family business, and expanded it to include even worse affairs. The rise to power made her brother someone unrecognizable and cruel. After her brother married, at least Delicia had the company of her sister-in-law Mariana and soon, her nephew Vidal. But along with her family growing, the danger her brother posed to them all due to his business and his abuse only grew, too. Unknown to Delicia, her sister-in-law made a plan to turn on Aamon and end his reign of terror by working with the U.S. Marshal Service. In the course of one day, everything changed for Delicia, and suddenly she was freed from the compound walls that she had been hidden behind for so long, only to be hidden as a witness to testify against her brother and his crimes. Deputy Marshal Rafael Alvarez was new to the U.S. Marshal Service, and he was determined that his first major case would be successful. Connected to Delicia because of their Hispanic heritage, they grow close and he soon finds he would do anything to keep her safe from danger as her brother tries to find her and prevent her from testifying against him. Will Aamon find his sister, or will Rafael be able to hide her?
