This book, "The Revolution of Literature", was more written in this stage and its nature, in which it seems clear to rooting the Egyptian identity independent of the Arabs, and it did not lack in this field the focus on freedom, belief in it and calling for it in its various forms and forms, especially the freedom of reason, thinking and scientific research, but soon He denounced the Pharaonic tendency when he realized that their owners blow in this glorious tendency of Pharaonic not because of the value of the Pharaohs, and only to cut the link with the Arabs and Islam only. The book talks here about the conflict that took place between the old and the new in the art of Egyptian literature in particular, and the writer introduced the old men and on top of them Mustafa Sadiq Al -Rafii, and the men of the new style, headed by Akkad and Taha Hussein, and talked about some of their literary clashes that affected the square Literary and renewed the youth of the Arabic language.
