Moments in Time

Moments In TimeThis book is written as I am recalling to my ex-wife Sandi moments in time up to the current time. Most of them are directly about her and some moments are not but they are still directed to her as stories I want to share with her the "e;moments in time"e; in my life. The bulk of the book is from 1982 when I arrived in Vegas up to the present time. I met my ex at the Landmark where we both worked. I had left my wife and our son shortly after he was born and I regret it to this day. Though we would get back together many times, she would finally have enough. Ever since then I have been affected with constant visions and many reoccurring dreams. A few years ago I realized that these constant memories and dreams were not going to stop. I began to perceive that my own conscience was responsible for all of this. All of this happened over a 40 year span. About a year ago I began to accept and even welcome these dreams and memories. I felt as long as I was stuck with them I might as well enjoy them. I began to believe that the Lord may have been allowing this to continue as penance while I'm still on this earth, maybe lessening time in Purgatory (If I get that far!) There are many popular songs mentioned in these writings also. Some are used as chapter headings, some are used as subchapters and others are just mentioned to set a tone. Most of these songs were in my head in "e;real time"e; at the time the event actually happened. The writing is very diverse and it is pretty much a rollercoaster ride with plenty of Cliff-hangers and Flashbacks to keep you moving. The pages are filled with humor, adventure, gut retching pain, and some mystery. It is also about my struggle with faith on the road to redemption but above all it is a love story!
