Orchid Pavilion Preface of Wang Xizhi

Orchid Pavilion Preface or The Collection of Orchid Pavilion Preface, also known as Xi Tie, is the representative work of Wang Xizhi, a calligrapher of the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It is called "e;the first running script in the world"e; by later generations, and it is one of the best models for later generations to learn running script. It has clear strokes, with both hidden fronts and exposed fronts, beautiful but not frivolous, and the center strokes move the brush. Pointillism is thick and thin, thick and robust but not bloated, and fine and delicate but not thin. The structure of the characters is varied, and the repeated characters have their own postures. Among them, there are more than 20 characters for "e;Zhi"e;, but some are stable, some are steep, some are stretched, some are convergent, some are neat, some are fluent.
