Seeing Red

Michael Sinclair is neurodiverse and grew up with a special kind of synesthesia, a neurological condition that causes him to see colored auras around a person's body. He was happy with this quirk until looking at people also triggered certain tastes in his mouth. Now, just like every other neurodiverse person, Michael finds it hard work to be around other people and started to see a therapist to help him develop coping mechanisms. One thing that always eluded Michael was the color red around a person s body. He had never given this much thought until one day he did start to see red and every single person with this aura turned out to be extremely violent. Intrigued by this, Michael started to do his own investigations, following those with red auras until he had evidence of wrongdoing, and started to report these tip-offs to the local police. Only, he has now made one too many calls to the police and they are starting to get suspicious of his accuracy in finding crimes. At this time, the FBI have come to Huntington to work with the police to track down a serial killer. Bodies are being found that have all been prepared in the same way before burial eyelids sliced from their face and a zipper sewn over their mouths.
