Warrior, Come Home

The joy of our human experience is that for a moment in time we get to believe that we are separate from Creation for the sake of admiring its beauty before returning to the Fold. This collection of poems explores that from the perspective of the Warrior who confronts their personality, The Ego, and slowly remembers their divinity through integrating it within their life. There are three voices in this story calling the Ego home:      1. The Sage- The voice within each of us that still knows itself to be God. It is the voice of pure knowing.     2. The King/Queen. This is the voice that takes responsibility for oneself and the world around them. It envisions a world where everyone knows themselves to be King and Queen. It is the voice of royalty.     3.The Divine Half, in the case of this story, the Divine Feminine, or The Goddess, is the voice that guides the Masculine through his own ignorance, and projections of fear. It is important to note that our "e;Divine Half"e; is not outside of us in the form of another human. It is within us. Only when we recognize this fully and merge our masculine and feminine halves do we find that person in reality who can embody and reflect back to us our whole being. It is the voice of unconditional love     These voices braid multiple realities across space and time to link what is literally happening in the journey, what is subconsciously happening, and what is a metaphor, a bridge between the two that the ego can understand.     Each passage is a connection to the truth that we all intuitively already know and feel: WE ARE ONE.
