This book explores the research management mechanism of universities from the perspectives of people, finance, material, mechanism, organization and system, present and future, domestic and foreign. The research object of the first part is mainly the scientific research activity itself, based on the internal of scientific research activity. The second part of the study focuses on the external factors affecting research activities - from the level of research management organization and research support. The third part focuses on the sustainable development and enhancement of research activities in the long-term perspective, mainly discussing the nurturing function of research activities and its balance with the educational function, the enhancement of undergraduates' research ability and thesis management.
