Xunzi is a well-known thinker and writer in the late Warring States period, and a master of pre-Qin Confucianism. Together with Confucius and Mencius, he is known as the three most important figures in pre-Qin Confucianism. Xunzi's thought has integrated the elements of Taoism, Mohism, Ming Confucianism, and Legalism during the Warring States Period, and made a creative development of Confucianism. Of particular importance is his doctrine on human nature, etiquette, human status, and the relationship between name and reality. This doctrine forms the basis of his entire ideological system. His ideological materials are mainly preserved in Chinese Classic Collection: Xunzi. Chinese Classic Collection: Xunzi is checked with the authoritative version, and industry expert An Xiaolan is invited to add annotations and translations.
