The irony of human behavior is that he starts to enjoy the present soon, forgetting the painful tragedies of the past. This habit of forgetting often makes him careless, and such carelessness may shape a perilous future for him. The world is filled with unknown threats and dangers hidden under the layers of time. Some of them are visible, while some of them are not. Often human relies on his eyes and his vision, but not always what you see with your eyes, is true. We relate the impact of a threat with its size. However, some threats are so small, nearly invisible. These threats emerge from the mysterious microscopic world dominated by pathogenic microbes, such as bacteria & viruses. And for ignoring these threats, one may have to pay a heavy price, sometimes in form of life. These threats may reveal themselves in the wave of destruction. This might be possible that the next wave would turn into a disaster, engulfing the entire human population in its domination.
During the Second World War, a new power came into existence: nuclear power. Engulfing the lives of millions of innocent people, it was considered the biggest threat to human civilization until now. But it is a misconception that the radioactive substances or nuclear weapons are the most lethal and dangerous for humans. However, the lethality of radioactive substances and nuclear weapons is insignificant compared to that of these pathogenic microbes.
