"The Half-Full Suitcase" is a collection of ten short stories in the Persian language, written by Goli Nejadi and inspired by her own and other migrants' lived experiences. Exploring themes of displacement, distance, longing and the redefinition of 'home', the book has a social and emotional undertone.Adopting a delicate and occasionally critical perspective infused with warmth and a subtle sense of humour, the author portrays moments from the lives of individuals caught between the past and the present. Despite the challenges they face, especially when migration occurs later in life, they strive to preserve their values and sustain the joy and hope in their lives. The dynamic relationship between people and society is also revealed: people reflect their cities, and cities mirror the spirit and behaviour of their inhabitants.Though each story stands alone, they are connected by a shared emotional thread, forming a broader picture of an unfinished journey. This journey is one that the mind cannot fully comprehend, as its people's routes lie far away.

چمدان نیمه‌پر مجموعه‌ای از ده داستان کوتاه فارسی است که نویسنده، گلی نژادی، آن را با الهام از تجربه‌ی زندگی خود و مهاجران نوشته است. این اثر با درون‌مایه‌ای اجتماعی و احساسی، به تجربه‌ی زیستی مهاجرت، فاصله، دلتنگی و بازتعریف مفهوم خانه می‌پردازد.نویسنده با نگاهی ظریف و گاه انتقادی، با قلمی گرم و طنزی لطیف، لحظه‌هایی از زندگی انسان‌هایی را روایت می‌کند که میان گذشته و حال ایستاده‌اند؛ گاه با دشواری‌های مهاجرت، به‌ویژه در سنین بالاتر، روبرو هستند و در عین حال می‌کوشند ارزش‌های خود را حفظ کرده و امید و شادمانی را در زندگی جاری نگه دارند. در این میان، رابطه‌ی متقابل انسان و جامعه نیز به تصویر کشیده می‌شود؛ جایی که مردم آینه‌ی شهرشان هستند و شهر بازتابی از روح و رفتار مردمانش است.روایت‌ها، با وجود استقلال، در یک خط احساسی مشترک به هم پیوند می‌خورند و در مجموع تصویری از سفری ناتمام را شکل می‌دهند؛ سفری که ذهن آن را به‌طور کامل به پایان نمی‌رساند، چرا که ریشه‌ها در جایی دورتر باقی مانده‌اند.
