Lee served 9 years in the United States Marine Corps. He knows how to survive almost anything-except the memories his last deployment left him with. When PTSD, grief, and the load of his mental demons force him to leave the military behind, Lee struggles to find a future he never planned for.

As an elementary school teacher, she pours all her heart into her students and refuses to dwell on the one man she could never quite forget.
