A-Z of Teaching

Following the success of A-Z of School Leadership: A guide for new school leaders, this A-Z provides an authentic explanation for teachers, especially those who have recently qualified, those in training or those considering becoming a teacher. Three topics are discussed for each letter of the alphabet. The aim of this book is to set out some key elements of teaching advice and insight that the author has experienced and gained along his journey spanning more than two decades in education. Also, a very useful Glossary with over four hundred definitions used in schools and education can be found at the end of the book.

Kausor Amin-Ali qualified as a teacher of mathematics from the University of Cambridge. He has experience working in numerous schools in England and in the UAE, with fifteen years in senior school leadership including Headship and Principalship and more than seven years as a Governor including serving as a Chair of Governors.

He is also the author of many published articles sharing his thought leadership on topics including leadership, wellbeing and strategy. He is also an award-winning Educational Influencer in recognition as Founder of All Children Read, a global non-for-profit organisation and delivery partner dedicated to eradicating global childhood illiteracy.
