Growing up in Nigeria, in senior high school (Obizi High School), Uzoma Chukwuocha was a science student, but he was given a concession access to Literature classes by the Literature teacher (Mr. Alimole) who saw early Uzoma's healthy appetite for written and spoken words. Ever since that early encounter, Uzoma maintained and fed his enchantment with the literary world.
He kept writing for personal amusement and expression until he moved to the United States. Writing became a more serious hobby for this practicing physician, who lives in California with his family.
His articles have been published in a number of magazines and online news outlets, including TELL Magazine.
This collection of essays and poems is his first published book.
