First-time author Rudolph Michael Brandt was born in British Guiana, now named Guyana. He left the country at a young age and has been a banker, company director, and company owner. He has traveled extensively throughout the Guiana's, British now Guyana, Dutch Guiana (now Suriname), French Guiana, the Caribbean, Canada, and the United States, and now resides with his wife and family in Trinidad, West Indies.
