Aesthetic knowledge is the glory of reality, fitting the intricacies of choice in their every conceivable variation, the rhythms of music and poetry, the lines and colors of visual art, as well as the building of communities which sustain life and the narratives of people making their way in the world. Dr. Albaugh's series, entitled Epistemology, currently lists seven volumes. Aesthetic Knowledge is volume number seven. He is an independent philosopher, living in Des Moines with his wife, Lynda, and their animals. They have four children. He holds a Ph.D. in philosophy and taught philosophy for many years.
