"Aristotelis Politica" est monumentum fundamentale philosophiae civilis, in quo Aristoteles de natura, fine, et ordine civitatis (polis) subtiliter disserit. In hoc opere, philosophus diversas formas gubernandi, sicut monarchiam, aristocratiam, et rem publicam, diligenter examinat, atque de virtute civium et de optimo statu rei publicae disputat. Aristoteles clarissime affirmat hominem esse natura "animal politicum", qui solum in communitate vitam perfectam et beatam assequi possit.

Haec editio, ab Ottone Immisch recognita, fontem praebet ad altissimam cognitionem cogitationis Aristotelicae de iustitia, legibus, et educatione. Per investigationem constitutionum et partium civitatis, "Aristotelis Politica" fundamenta iecit scientiae politicae occidentalis, quae usque ad hodiernum diem vim suam retinet. Est fons perennis sapientiae de bono communi et de ratione vivendi in societate.
