With more than 1,000 articles published covering various topics in Pakistan's print media, Omar has made significant contributions to the literary landscape. He has authored several notable books, including "Divided Species" (Auraq, 2020), the first science fiction novel set in Karachi, Pakistan; "20 Steps to Writing Articles" (Daastan, 2022), a guide to effective writing; and "Recreate Your Future" (The Little Book Company, 2023), which highlights 100 top soft skills and includes 22 articles from leading industry experts in Pakistan.

In 2024, he published "Player AI" (Daastan), a groundbreaking sports science fiction story that uniquely links cricket and technology.
