It began in a coffee shop on a rainy Tuesday. For three seconds, every person in the room froze. They stared at nothing. Then, in perfect synchronization, they spoke a single sentence that meant nothing and everything: "The blue tide rises at four."

Jaren, a sound collector who records the chaotic noise of the city, was the only one who didn't speak. He was the only one who noticed.

As the days pass, the moments of synchronization grow longer.
