Biophysics is the science of physical principles underlying all processes of life, the energetics, dynamics and kinetics of biological systems. §This fully revised 2nd edition provides the introductory background needed for fundamental training in biophysics and, in addition, offers a great deal of advanced biophysical knowledge. It spans the whole area of life from a biophysical view, from the molecular, cellular and organismic level to the environmental factors.
