Author: Wayne B. Bowman carefully guides his readers through the confusing and often contradictory teachings of the Catholic Catechism. Studying out select topics, he then compares it to Sacred Scripture, thus illuminating truth like a lamp in the night. His purpose is to lead his readers out of the archaic darkness of Catholic doctrine into the wonderful light of God's Holy Bible based truth. In the latter portion of his book, He utilizes a question-and-answer format to review and solidify these truths.
His book, is an eye opening must read for any catholic, friend of a catholic or the just plain curious. This book is sure to stir up some controversy and ruffle a few hierarchical feathers, but as Bowman so truthfully states; "It's time for someone to pick up the torch and light the way." Paul's ministry was to take truth to the gentiles; this author feels a duty to take the truth to Catholic's everywhere.
