"Too early for jokes," I muttered.
"Dad's making breakfast. Coach says the bus leaves at 7:30."
I nodded, nerves tightening. "Got it."
"You ready?" he asked.
"Yeah." Maybe.
"Good," he said. "Because I invited some family."
I froze. "What?"
"Uncle Elon, Daimian, and Kai are in town. Thought they'd enjoy the game."
