This is a collection of revealing interviews with the former LeRoi Jones, a leading figure in the world-wide black liberation movement, and poet, playwright, fiction writer and essayist. Included are interviews conducted by Maya Angelou and David Frost, plus a new interview granted to the editor. The text provides an insight into African-American literature, as well as into the turmoil and passions of the "black experience" during the second half of the 20th century.
