Los Angeles, 1949 -- Danny Boy is living the good life: he's an accountant with high-powered clients like mobster Mickey Cohen, a supportive wife, a hot mistress, a regular table at the Pacific Seas, free reign to gamble at Ciro's, and a network of contacts who constantly feed him valuable information that he uses to the advantage of his clients and friends.
