Richard Cutler (the spy who headed US Counter-intelligence in postwar Berlin) describes his career with the super-secret X-2 counter-intelligence branch of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) during World War Two, and his post-war work with the US War Department's Strategic Services Unit (SSU) which later became the CIA. It includes details of how Nazi spies were rounded up and convinced to work for the Allies while they scrambled for Nazi secrets, scientists and intelligence assets.
