Crazy Existence

This book is titled Crazy Existence, which reflects the chaotic reality of my life with not one, but two narcissistic, abusive alcoholics. When you combine the addictions in our situation- alcoholism, abnormal sexual dependency, and wild mood swings with my codependency and our alternating desires to heal, with the unpredictable, unhealthy narcissism, it's no wonder the participants could easily live in a mental hospital. With so many moving parts in a family, we never really know what to expect from one day to the next.

    In a desperate attempt to find peace, I had to walk back through my past family trauma and losses, and uncover some uncomfortable truths about my husband's upbringing. With each new discovery, I was able to put another puzzle piece in place and carefully reconstruct my life. I began to realize that what I was dealing with was highly abnormal.
