Debt To The Victim

"Sometimes the greatest wars are fought not on the frontlines, but within the silence. Sometimes a vacation turns into a trap where everything you fled from is waiting for you."

Leaving their titles and murder files behind in Istanbul, Bürküt and Gökçe take refuge in Cyprus for a New Year holiday filled with love and tranquility. Their goal is simple: to rest in the lap of luxury, forget the outside world, and belong solely to each other.

However, dark shadows from all corners of the globe begin to fall upon the lobby of their hotel. The greatest barons of the underworld, from the icy cold of Russia to the fire of Latin America, from the disciplined crime syndicates of Japan to the corrupt aristocracy of Europe, gather under the same roof for a dark assembly.

Finding themselves suddenly at a gambling table hosted by Bella Ciao, the holiday morphs into a psychological war for the couple. Moreover, this table is merely a beginning; the curtain of true chaos will rise in the isolated paradise awaiting them.
R' MiCoLo Island, unnamed on any map... A fortress of 7 star magnificence and absolute privacy, completely insulated from the outside world. This utopia, built by Bella Ciao strictly for the "chosen ones," is a closed kingdom where personalized scenarios are written, desires are taken as commands, and time stands still.

Yet, this paradise is abruptly shattered by a bloody atrocity. When the metallic scent of death replaces the champagne bubbles, the island is no longer a sanctuary; it becomes an eerie crime scene where even those who paid the price have no guarantee of making it out alive.

This special interim installment of the DEBT TO THE VICTIM series invites the reader to an uncanny confrontation, dragging a story that begins at the peak of luxury and love into a dark finale sealed with blood.
