Parents - Children - Grandchildren: THE CIRCLE OF LIFE!

There was a time when the history of most families and individual members was passed primarily from generation to generation by word of mouth, photos, letters, and other memorabilia. Today, we are increasingly inundated with social media interactions, short videos, and highly selective snapshots that capture and offer complex data about families and individuals. However, how accurate is that data? What is the context of the data? What is the real value of such data?

The content of this book attempts to demonstrate that the most important component of perpetuating growth and development within the family continues to be by parents modeling best behaviors, listening to children, learning from them, realizing what is going on in their lives, and by sharing stories and lessons learned during our own lives. This approach will provide more in-depth context for the growing data collection surrounding children's lives. We cannot live their lives for them, but we can try to "set the stage" by sharing critical examples of moments and choices that define who we are and how this translates into learning opportunities for our children, especially our adolescent grandchildren. Faith and Love are centric to the most promising "Circle of Life!"
