Acharya chatursen Shastri was a prominent writer in Hindi literature. He was born on 26 August 1891 in aurangabad chandok, a village in bulandshar district of utter Pradesh, India. He has published 72 books. Devangana is a historical novel. It shows the shortcomings created in Buddhist monasteries that led to the complete elimination of Buddhist religion from India.
