Her old childhood friend, who vanished from school, introduces her to Dive Deep-a forbidden and seductive online game, known only to a few and banned by the authorities. A game with no points, no goals-only portals leading straight into your subconscious. Here, dreamlike missions, mysterious creatures, and a kind of freedom Sara has never known before await her.

But The National Education Committee -a state surveillance agency-hunts players like her. And her father tries to keep her trapped in his own ambitions, even as they threaten to destroy her.

The deeper Sara dives, the clearer the choice becomes: Return to the life others planned for her-or find her own path.

Author's Intention

My dream with Dive Deep is to create an engaging, poetic, and entertaining book series about spirituality for young readers.

Drawing on Buddhism and Carl Jung's theories, I want-in a dreamlike and dynamic language-to explore the space between reality and imagination and create a new narrative that inspires young people to find their authentic selves.

We live in a performance-driven culture where children and teenagers are confronted early with demands for success from school, parents, friends, and society.

A person's value is too often measured in achievements-not in kindness, inner grounding, or presence. Small cracks are beginning to show in the culture of success, yet in film, music, and literature, the tale of the hero and the exceptional individual still dominates.

Dive Deep begins there too-but the protagonist must learn that she is more than her accomplishments.

My goal is to create a timeless story-not only in a market sense, but in the life of the reader.

A story that takes on new meaning depending on where the reader is in their own life.
