Revenge is a dish best served with a heaping helping of dead beast roasting on a spit.
Pimlyn means to avenge her father and once and for all rid Hartsmuth of the creature hidden deep within the Scorched Woods.
Feeling alone despite always being surrounded, an oddity amongst her free natured mother and the nomadic village she was born to, Pim dreams of a different life, one of her own choosing. She's never known putting down roots, and longs to carve her own path. She just has one teensy-weensy, tiny little thing to take care of first: dispatching of the beast that took her father's life.
The Great Beast of Blackstone could have imagined many a scenario, as he lolled amongst his treasures lazily and dreamed of freedom from his prison. The little spitfire of a human, a female, no less, was... not quite what he'd had in mind. THIS mouthy little thing was to be his chance to escape? Her? The fates must be mad! Curse those wizards that put this on him! Jabbering nincompoops just tossed everything into the pot!
Even worse, the moon-kissed human is clearly addled, jabbering about revenge and killing and- and he wasn't even quite sure, she spoke so fast in her squeaky little voice. She's worse than the squirrels he fought to keep from nesting in the rafters. Her grating little voice makes his ears wish they could bleed, if only to silence that noise.
She had grit, though. She was no wilting lily. He'd give her that.
Eh. Perhaps the human could prove useful...
She would, at the least, be entertaining.
A revenge hungry human means to catch the dragon by the talon, and yet... it would seem the dragon is not the only one feeling caught.
A dragon in a pickle, a human on a mission, one huge misunderstanding. It's a fire-breathing recipe for disaster.
Lighthearted fantasy romance with plenty of heart and funnies.
