Neirin has to run. He has yet to see if the forbidden mountains of Eshkwall will be his doom or a resolution. Either way, the chance presented itself so he has to do his best to grab it. It does no good to complain or whimper. The laws of the jungle are just like the laws of physics- it takes very special circumstances to break them. He has to harden himself and abandon even more of his ideals to have a chance. And with hardly any time to breathe, one opportunity after another presents itself, and not just for Neirin. Unexpected friendship shall be kindled by the worst of experiences. Trust and betrayal is always the question- one that can be only answered with deeds, not promises.

Monira is determined to save Neirin, yet lady luck is pushing him away from her with everything she has- yet she is not one to give up. Non-existent fate shall be reforged with her own will while leaving legends in her trace.
