Echoes Before Horizon

Nathan Rivers has no idea where he has been for the last two years.

He is found naked and badly injured in a Louisiana swamp, with no memory of how he got there. He is found with something embedded in his body, tracking his location.

The two Cajun brothers find him and think they've stumbled onto a very strange Yankee. Thomas Caldwell knows better. A retired British intelligence officer with secrets of his own, Caldwell quickly realizes that someone wants Nathan back badly enough to kill anyone who gets in the way.

Soon Nathan is officially dead, forced to disappear under a new identity, and discovering that whatever happened during his missing years changed him. His mind works differently. Patterns other people never notice seem obvious to him. Sometimes his reactions happen before he has time to think. And occasionally, fragments of memory return. They show him flashes of places and events that make no sense.

But whoever is searching for him hasn't stopped. Nathan tries to build a new life while following the scattered clues to his past. His search carries him from the Louisiana bayou to Miami and across the Caribbean. Along the way, the mystery only deepens. Someone knows what happened during those missing two years.
