This series of children's picture books features a huggable crew of stuffed animal friends working to help young readers process 'big feelings' across relatable situations. Each story introduces a new plush pal, within the context of bedtime, who somehow lends his or her fur to facilitate conversation, emotional expression, and problem-solving. The Snuggle Time Talk discussion questions that follow take learning a step further by helping readers integrate their own experiences.

She is the Huggable Hero who children can safely lean into as they learn to navigate the grieving process at their own pace. In her feature story, she is a symbol of the love left behind in loss. Because 'elephants never forget,' Ella helps remind young readers that, even in death, those we care about are never forgotten because they remain connected to us in love.

As an author with a professional background in Special Education, a wife and mom, and a lifelong advocate of the expressive arts and individuals with disabilities of all ages, Jennifer Pegram strives to inspire others with every stroke of her pen.
