'Finding Light in the Darkness' is a collection of blackout poetry and other ramblings through a journey of depression, love, loss, life and starting over. Blackout poetry is my passion; my therapy. It has given me a sense of belonging and purpose in life. Through the encouragement and support of so many people, I was able to find the strength to reinvent myself. Now I want to share it with you. That is what blackout poetry means to me. It is a vehicle of love passing on from one person to the next. It's about inspiring others and being inspired by others through art and words, and through finding stories of hope, love, and determination. It's about finding light in the darkness.
