Gremlins have taken to the seas to begin working their daily grind in modern times. As they get their bearings, engineering officers in the merchant marine begin suffering machinery casualties, personal injury, and agonizing deaths. A Coast Guard inspector is tasked with finding out what is causing these maritime incidents and comes across a name, Harold Vinci, who has been on these vessels in the past. He must find out his connection to these monsters and bring their reign of terror to an end. As he pushes through each horror show job site, his mental health begins to falter.
