Peace had reigned for many generations, and the War of Ages, a battle between mech forces and living beings, had largely been forgotten, as had the use of magic. But through an accidental discovery of an ancient mech ship, Halic, a gnome dedicated to the study of technology, discovers the presence of mech forces on the nearby planets. With some newfound friends, Halic gets drawn into a mission to make others aware of the resurging threat.
