At the International Group Theory Conference in Bressanone recent trends and results in different areas of group theory were presented and discussed. These proceedings contain some survey articles and a number of research papers touching on a wide range of topics including permutation groups, automorphisms, presentations, products of subgroups, locally finite groups, soluble groups and related problems, with some emphasis on infinite groups.
