After twenty-five years of depending on her family, Daisy LaFleur is determined to prove she's a capable adult, epilepsy be damned. But when she moves out and accepts a temporary teaching job, reality sinks in-she's alone, hours from home, and unable to drive or secure the medications she so desperately needs.
