Using heart-lung preparation in dogs with a MORAWITZ coronary canula, he found that harmol (10 mgm. per Kilo) produced 1 a remarkable increase in the coronary flow. BRAMWELL, CAMPBELL and EVANS treated 20 patients suffering from angina pectoris with propylharmol by mouth and found benefit from the drug in four early cases but no improvement in the more severe types.
