This family's stories will help your mind wander through many different places, some exotic and others plain. You will witness buffoons for hotel staff on England's Cornish coast, seasickness in the Galápagos Islands, the challenges of corralling three generations of family in Bermuda, the super-sized culture of Texas, intestinal troubles in Paris and Vienna, a terrifying descent down an amusement park's water tower in Dubai, lost luggage in Caracas and other cities, and many other travel trials. Other anecdotes are of times at home, often after returning from vacation. The author with family in tow and despondently staring at their locked house after having left the door keys at an out-of-town hotel is one such example. This book serves up a cocktail of woe and humor that is sure to entertain. Ted Nash is a banker in Toronto where he lives with his wife and three children. He grew up in Montreal and has also lived in Boston, Caracas, London, and Philadelphia.
