I love it when they beg...do it again.

Lady Brine belongs to her father, to live her life as his little serial killer in secret. After all, if the crown knew she existed, they would hunt her down like the rabid dog everyone thinks her kind is. Her tormented childhood and the scars that her half-brother left on her skin are constant reminders of her place in the world. Brine has one plan, one desire. Take her steamy faux- girlfriend/ handmaiden Delia and run- while indulging in a coastline killing spree before taking the crown for herself.

But she quickly finds herself in the center of a new battle. The one that begs the question of what's more important, revenge or happiness.

Brine learned at a young age that men are dangerous, and not to trust anyone but herself and her powers. So she resolved to become the monster in their nightmares, and paint herself red with their blood. But she never expects to actually be attracted to the Crown Prince, who she is supposed to kill.

And when the line between reality and desire blur, the stakes get even deadlier.
