"I'm No Good" is a story that shows kids that asking for help is not weakness, but the first step toward growing stronger.
Lukhanyo loves to draw. Robots with wings, rocket-powered dragons, even a fridge with feet!
But when school art projects don't turn out the way he hopes, his confidence begins to crumble.
The harder he tries, the worse it seems to get... until he starts to believe he's simply no good.
With the gentle support of his dad, a little courage, and a lot of practice, Lukhanyo learns something important: that even the best artists ask for help. And with help, effort, and patience, his wild imagination can truly shine.
This uplifting story is a warm reminder for children that everyone learns differently, mistakes are part of growing, and asking for help is how we get better.
A How to Be Me Story - helping children build confidence, curiosity, and the tools to think through life's little (and big) moments.
