Lupita Almaraz is as hilarious as she is serious, and as quirky as she is brilliant. The Author has been published in University and Law School Journal Publications. This compilation of poems includes her life-long writings that span forty-five years. Some will make you laugh; with others you will reminisce; some will raise an eyebrow; and others will make you cry; because something in this book just resonates with you or someone you know. Her small-town upbringing is the crux of the Author's friendly character and serious determination. The tenth of twelve siblings, a mom, grandmother, attorney, poet, and author, Lupita Almaraz has always been dedicated to giving the best of herself in all of her endeavors. She delivers just that in her writings in this book. Some of the Author's poetry in this collection was written at the age of twelve, through her teens, and into the present, many of which she is sharing for the first time. One may just be about you!
