Intentions of the Heart

In Intentions of the Heart, Patrick Gallagher offers insights and practices that will open your heart to the transforming power of the gospel in your daily life. You will be encouraged to consider how your life is connected to others as well as to the bigger picture of God's redemptive plan for the world. Intentions of the Heart provides an optimistic and uplifting view of your eternal place in the presence of God. You will be invited to discover for yourself that wholeness is only found in connection to the whole as you expand your understanding of what it means to be part of the Body of Christ.

Through forty daily readings, Gallagher makes the case that God's love is an unstoppable force that overcomes evil with goodness, both in our individual lives as well as in all of creation. These readings include the following topics:

"Less Projection, More Connection"

"Certainty, Not Doubt, Is the Enemy of Spiritual Growth"

"A Code to Live By That Reflects the Heart of God"

"Renew Your Childlike Sense of Holy Wonder"

"Who Are We, Really? "

"Perfection Is Not What You Think It Is"

"The Utter Abundance of God's Grace"
